I was leaving work near Al Quoz yesterday and my car just wouldn't turn over, which has never happened to me before here. After waiting around for fifteen minutes and sweating through my shirt, I finally got a jump from a colleague but now I'm pretty sure I need a replacement before I get stranded again. I started looking up car battery near me on my phone while I was waiting, but honestly I don't really trust those random results since a friend once got a bad one that died after two months. Have any of you used a place that actually tests the old battery properly and gives you something reliable for the summer? I saw BatteryZoneUAE mentioned somewhere but I'm not sure if they do fitting on the spot or if I'd need tools myself. Really just want somewhere straightforward where I don't get overcharged just because my car wouldn't start in a random parking lot.
