My QX80 has been struggling a bit the last few mornings, especially after sitting in this heat, and this morning it finally just gave up completely in the parking at my villa in Shamkha. Just that slow crank that fades to nothing. I know these big Infinitis need a decent battery with enough cold cranking amps to turn that V8 over, especially in the summer. I'm looking for a Trusted Infiniti battery service in Abu Dhabi that won't try to sell me some cheap Chinese battery that'll die in three months. I found a place online that specialises in Infiniti battery replacement and they mention having the correct AGM batteries for the QX80 and Q50 models with stop-start systems . Has anyone used them or can recommend a place that does proper testing of the alternator and charging system before just swapping parts? Don't mind driving to Industrial Area or wherever if they're reliable and actually know these Japanese cars properly.
